The Federal Government of Nigeria (FGN) has initiated the preparation of an agro-climatic resilience in semi-arid landscapes (ACRESAL) project with the World Bank. The project is to help Nigeria address critical challenges of regional desertification control and land scape management in northern Nigeria. The proposed project will increase the adoption of climate resilience landscape management practices and enhance livelihood in targeted arid/semi-arid watershed in the Nineteen (19) Northern States including the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
